Launched in 2014, Caminos is a subsidiary of Casas Cantabricas, the villa holiday specialists. They are a family run business based in Cambridge and Northern Spain that provide a wide selection of independent driving and touring holidays across Spain and Portugal.

For 28 years their ethos has been to offer local expertise and a personal service to travellers looking to tour the most beautiful undiscovered regions of Spain.



The objectives for the new website were to increase traffic through the application of strategic search engine optimisation and paid search marketing, and to increase the enquiries through the site and conversion rate.

Secondary objectives included enhancing the user journey through the site and delivery of key information, and raising the profile of new tour locations and seasonal promotions through the site.

The Granite 5 digital marketing team worked with Caminos to implement a comprehensive digital strategy. The first change was restructuring the website navigation to improve usability and migrating to a new WordPress platform.

Keyword research and on page optimisation was completed to improve content for users and search engines, and to develop landing pages for  restructured PPC campaigns and remarketing, including adding a number of international landing pages to target American and Australian markets.
