We are pleased to welcome 2 new developers, James Fawcett – Senior Developer and Dilly Bricknell-Barlow – Junior Developer to the team.
James Fawcett – Senior Developer, is based in Yorkshire and an experienced developer with over 14 years’ experience in the industry. He has already demonstrated his ability of optimising the performance of websites, which is especially important with the launch of Google’s new Core Web Vitals algorithm change in May. He has already launched new sites for Rise Above and ODC in his first month.
James commented: “It’s great to be part of such an inspiring and welcoming team that is really raising the standard for digital agencies. And I’m looking forward to the impact we can make for our clients!”
Dilly Bricknell-Barlow – Junior Developer, will be helping the maintenance team on the support desk to identify and fix problems. Dilly will be managing content migrations for the project delivery team, and will be responsible for thorough quality assurance testing. She will be instrumental to ensuring all our sites are optimised and delivered with accuracy.
Dilly commented: “I’m really excited to be part of the Granite 5 team and have been amazed at the support and unique culture within the agency. They are such a progressive company with outstanding ethics, and I feel very lucky to be a part of that.”
Christian Scott, Head of Project Delivery at Granite 5 commented: “It’s great to have two new keen and skilled developers on board. James lives and breathes digital and loves new challenges and even diving deep into legacy code to problem solve and optimise. Dilly has a really proactive and confident approach to anything we throw her way. She is already doing a great job and making a difference. We are already seeing what an impact they are having, and it is great to have them as part of the team.”
