Google Local Search

Join the Google Search revolution ... and stand by for business!

Google's brand new local search is now THE way to get your business found by customers.

Although it's still in test or 'beta' mode, it's a real revolution because it gives local businesses equal footing with big rivals on search results – for free.

So don't delay– get listed now – because Web experts predict huge expansion and fierce competition, especially as Google will soon be able to work out where every searcher's computer is, and will sift results to match the geographical location.

Dubbed the Internet version of the phone book or Yellow Pages, local search enables customers to find your business, read customer reviews, check opening hours or get a map of your location – all in around 30 seconds.

Type in "locksmiths Cambridge" and Google will return a Top 10 listing of local business results at the top of first page. Users can then either click through to the businesses' websites or hit the "more" link alongside each name to get opening hours, maps, reviews and even payment details.

The big benefit? It levels the playing field for small businesses who can't compete with big budget marketing from larger rivals.
